FAQ

We produce some of the finest grass fed goat meat in the San Francisco Bay Area. We raise our own livestock on our ranch properties in Marin and Sonoma Counties. Currently we have 125 African Boer Goats on our 50 acre ranch in the Bloomfield Valley near Petaluma and on our extended family ranch in Point Reyes, which are both known for the cool coastal climate that is perfect for raising livestock.

Our goats are raised specifically for meat production on a 100% grass fed program and are free of any hormones or antibiotics. We use a rotational grazing program that produces the most sustainable benefit out of the land and the animal. In addition to their meat, the goats also play an integral role in browsing invasive thistles, weeds, and shrubs on the ranches certified organic pasture land.

Goat meat is the most widely consumed meat in the world. The combined health benefits of goat meat, being very high in protein and low in cholesterol, has contributed to its popularity — catching on quickly in the US and especially here locally in the Bay Area.
