Taste

September 12th, 2010

Please come and take a tour of our new ranch! We’ll stroll through the livestock working corrals and climb to the top of our hill where views of the plentiful Bloomfield Valley abound. This is a unique opportunity to learn first-hand about our burgeoning herd of African Boer Goats.

Following the tour, participants will have an opportunity to meet two neighboring farmers who will be sampling farmstead cheeses and meats they have personally produced, while watching as Chef Pam Ferrari of Ferrari Catering prepares a delicious dinner on site in the barn.

Dinner will be served “feast style” at a long, white-linen draped table in the barn. Chef Ferrari’s mouth watering menu highlights all locally-grown seasonal salads, grilled veggies and meats including goat, beef, lamb and pork, which will be served family style. Each dinner will also include a “secret” course – a little treat from the Rossotti’s in honor of your visit. We’ll round off the meal with Straus Family Creamery Ice Cream with seasonal fruit toppings and freshly brewed coffee.

The event begins promptly at 3pm and runs until about 8pm. Please dress in layers as the coastal fog can make for a cool evening. While wine is not included in the ticket price, you are more than welcome to bring a bottle to enjoy with your meal. Glasses will be provided.

RSVP: Seating is limited and reservations are required. Please visit our Tours & Dinners page to reserve your seats. Tickets are $80 per person.
